Asheville NC is Beer City USA
There are many attractions in Asheville, NC but the town has taken on an unofficial title as Beer City USA over the past few years. The South Slope, once an overlooked industrial area, is now home to at least seven micro breweries. Some of the local favorites continue to be recognized on the national scene with Hi-Wire Brewing medaling at the 2019 Great American Beer Festival with their Sour Brown Aged on Palo Santo.
